Oniken is an action and platform game, from an independent source, which doesn't hide its tribute to classic 8 bit fighting games. From its visual style, totally pixelated, through its music, character design, and above all, its devilish difficulty, Oniken takes you to the past, to hit your opponents nonstop!

Because there's nothing else but violence in Oniken. And even its pixelated graphics can't hide it, on the contrary, they further emphasize it! But it's the environment that sets Oniken undoubtedly as the most "hardcore": a post-apocalyptic world where the remnants of humanity struggle to survive, decimated by a brutal world war, after which an evil megacorporation called Oniken takes control of the entire planet.

A small group of rebels is all that is opposed to the domination of Oniken, though with little hope of victory. Until the day when a ninja mercenary named Zaku joins them, motivated by unknown reasons. His fighting style, no matter why he does it, leaves him with no rival!
